Digitalisation and ESD are two important guiding principles for teaching at the University of Education in Weingarten. The EMIC STEAM project is so exciting because it implements these guidelines in an interdisciplinary collaboration between the subjects of biology, English and education. This allows students to experience this interdisciplinarity first-hand. At the same time, they have the opportunity to work on these topics independently and in an action-oriented manner.
On the teaching day on 12 November 2025, Prof. Dr. Ute Massler presented how students can develop EMIC STEAM media projects, which they will later test in our cooperating school classes at the Ravensburg secondary school.
