Our partner school Sjöviksskolan in Trelleborg Sweden just implemented our Fast Fashion MMB with 8th and 9th graders and the results are incredible.

The project began with an introduction to the topic, including a film about fast fashion. Then the practical work started: selecting the right jeans and developing the design. Cutting, unpicking seams, arranging the pieces, and sewing them together.
It resulted in amazing full-body aprons!

The topic was also covered in social studies (civics and geography). In this lesson, 8th grade students tried to reconstruct the journey of our clothing by arranging picture cards in the correct order. Meaningful discussions emerged in a very natural way.

Aditionally, textile crafts and woodwork resulted in a wooden kitchen roll holder and, manufactured washable and reusable fabric kitchen sheets.

Congrats to all the students involved!
