The University of Minho celebrated a day dedicated to one of their main research centers in education.
Organized by the Research Centre on Child Studies (CIEC), the event took place at the Institute of Education, in Braga, and reunited students, investigators and other collaborators!
In a day full of activities, there was one interesting exhibition.
The very creative 12th grade art students, from our partner Carlos Amarante Secondary School, were challenged with creating both a poster and an animated gif from an art piece of their choosing which would adress the fast fashion topic with an only-image approach.
But this was more than a physical exhibition! Since some of the projects were animated gifs, the atendees were invited to scan a QR code in each picture and, with their smartphone, see the gif in a more close, intimate and interactive way!
The results were amazing! The students successfully created very interesting projects that invite us all for reflection in this very relevant topic of Fast Fashion.
